Family owned and operated. The owner Juliana started making macarons for her fiance’s taco catering company in 2019 because she wanted to make something special for their clients. Like many, it wasn't until the pandemic struck, that Juliana started baking more and turned this into a means of income. She watched tutorials online, practiced after many failed attempts, and mastered the art of making macarons. The flavors were such a hit that they decided to start taking orders and slowly grew a clientele base. In 2023 Juliana reached out to a few coffee shops to sell at and after a few no's one that was about to open said yes, Hinar Dessert Bar and Cafe. We now sell thousands of macarons each month at Hinar and have been told by clients that these are some of the best macarons they've had! This company would be nothing without the people that support us, so thank you to everyone that has purchased! We now provide macarons at one of the most popular coffee shops in San Diego and for customized orders for special events.
